Prove Yourself vs. Improve Yourself

To prove or to improve.

Subtle difference but one seeks to validate a self-fulfilling prophecy while the other seeks to be curious about getting better.

The sky is the limit to one and to the other, the sky is the stepping stone.

One seeks safety for fear of being seen as incompetent and the other embraces failure because it leads to a wider range of competency.

One fortifies the roof of the house they live in and the other constantly adds more floors to the skyscraper they live in.

Which one are you? Out to prove yourself or out to improve yourself.
